*Role - QA Automation Analyst* *Location: St. Louis, MO Duration: 12+ Months* *Please send me someone LOCAL!!* Participate as a self-starter and key team member. Own the QA function on individual projects by providing QA Reviews and guidance, ensuring completion of test cases, and ensuring QA standards on tests, process and standards. Ability to perform end to end data validation and testing automation of complex & high volume business process software solutions. Engages as a liaison between Development team, Business Analysts and Business Partners to comprehend and contribute to detailed business / system data processing requirements. Validation of system implementations against requirements through definition, execution, automation & tracking of detailed data testing strategies. *Responsibilities*: • Ensure proper test coverage of User Stories in agile Sprints • Ensure Standards and Guidelines are followed with QA Reviews • Automate & execute detailed data validation testing plans, test suites, test cases and test scripts enabling all levels of testing (unit, functional, integration, and regression). • Design and implement automated test suite solutions to reduce manual testing overhead. • Meet testing objectives in an agile software development program. • End to End system validation including reconciliation of automated MDM, OLTP, ETL, Data Warehouse and BI Reporting systems. • Partner with Project Manager, Technical Team Lead, Business subject matter experts and 3rd party data providers to leverage / contribute / validate systems data processing requirements. • Provide qualitative / quantitative analysis evidence to project stakeholders as part of data QA focus. • Meet regularly with Project Manager and Technical Team Leads during project execution to evaluate project data testing status, milestones, risks, issues. *Requirements:* • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 5-7 years of experience in high volume / high complexity data systems analysis and validation including creation of custom SQL queries to perform data validation & gap analysis. • 5+ years of designing and building reusable testing automation • Solid experience with automated functional testing tools. Examples could be Cucumber, Fitnesse, Watir, Concordion, Canoo WebTest, Jacobie, HttpUnit, HtmlUnit, Geb, JMeter, or Sauce Labs. • Experience with statistical and/or financial analysis to independently validate algorithms. • Knowledge & application of statistical analysis techniques to independently validate algorithms. • Ability to translate business needs & requirements into holistic testing strategy. • Data analysis experience with high volume OLTP / Data Warehouse / BI reporting solutions. • Proficient analytical / problem-solving skills with ability to draw conclusions. • Effective oral and written communication skills with ability to make recommendations. • Ability to work well within a team environment and with limited supervision. • Formal experience with an ALM Testing Solution. • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics • Insurance / Financial industry knowledge.
