Job Title: Sr. AIX/Linux Admin Location: West Chester, PA Duration: 3-6 Months Rate: $DOE/hr on C2C *Looking for Very Senior Consultant * Immediate need for a senior AIX / Linux administrator. Linux / AIX system Administrator Required Experience: · At least 10 years of experience in Linux (Redhat 6.5 & 7) / AIX Administration. (The majority of the of the work is going to be in the Linux (Redhat 6.5 / Redhat 7) Administration) Required Skills: · Strong knowledge of Linux /AIX operating system including scripting, deployment automation, and general system administration. · Strong knowledge of networking and networking protocols. · Strong knowledge of virtual environments. · Strong knowledge of Satellite for RHEL patching. · Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes. · Ability to quickly find solutions to unfamiliar problems (research skills). · Knowledge of security practices (PCI-DSS). · Ability to follow change controls and security procedures. · Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot system problems. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Willing to work off-hours in an on-call schedule as needed. Off-hours work will most likely be required. · Ability to think outside the box for solutions. · Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work. · Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. The following Preferred (not required): · Virtualization - VMWare vSphere - VCP certified or relevant work experience. · Compute - Cisco UCS Blade servers or IBM P Series. · Fluency in advanced troubleshooting skills, methodologies and processes experience with a converged Infrastructure Platform( Cisco UCS).
