*F2F Required * *Scope:* - We need a strong software/data engineer. Preferably with Scala experience. If the candidate is a solid Java developer who has extensive experience working with Spark and deep knowledge of the Spark API, then that might be a compensating factor. - They need to be able to communicate clearly and be able to explain technical concepts in detail. They should be able to address each phase of the SDLC to take a Spark job from code to a JAR running in a production environment. Touching on all aspect of IDEs, test automation, build configuration, dependency management, use of CI/CD server, deployment, job workflow/scheduling. - They need to be able to speak in detail to production systems built on Cassandra that they helped developed. - They should be able to provide examples of logical/physical data models that they created or improved. - In addition, they should be able to explain in detail dependent processes that they established such as ETLs, updating/deleting data in Cassandra, keeping dependent tables current with source tables.
