*Job Title: Software Design Engineer 3* *Location: Redmond, WA* *Duration: starting with 3months+* *Rate: open* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Looking for someone who can work independently. Someone with 7-10 years’ experience. *Looking for strong hands-on full stack software engineer with Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET/MVC/WebApi <http://asp.net/MVC/WebApi>, JavaScript/AnjularJS/Bootstrap, C#, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Cloud (Services, Storage, Sql). Optional/Advantage: Exposure/experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium)* **Targeting someone that has done system integrations, performance scalability, and load testing. -- We have a team that is working on the UI already, and we need of (2) senior contractors with hands on coding experience for the middle and backend. The project is called EDM. We are basically trying to move legacy platform (HeadTrax) to a cloud based platform. We need this person to help excel this process. Will be moving this to our cloud platform (Azure). --70-80% will be writing code, designing code, 20% attending team meetings. There will be a morning standup. The middle of the day. At the beginning of the sprint, there will be clarifications, once clarified there will be sync ups an hour a day. It’s an ongoing project. Every 2 sprints to production. Agile environment. --7-12 years’ experience. Very hands on coding as well. Don’t need someone that can manage people, but more that are hands on. Strong in depth in technologies. Someone that has done system integrations, performance scalability, load tests. Large enterprise integrations. Primary developer for the backend. That Enterprise capability. Able to structure the code, and do unit testing. Do you need someone who’s worked at Microsoft before? If yes, any internal tools they should know about? --Someone who has worked for a service based company. Has worked on portals with Microsoft tools. Willing to look at candidates outside of Microsoft such as from: Amazon, Expedia etc. What would you say are the TOP 3 must-have skills you’re looking for? (Measurable skills, technologies, etc.) a.) ASP.NET/MVC/WebApi <http://asp.net/MVC/WebApi>, JavaScript/AnjularJS/Bootstrap, C#. b.) SQL server – Can write T-SQL and debug. c.)
