*Role:* Infrastructure Engineer *Location:* Boston, MA
*Duration:* 6+ Months Contract *Interview:* Phone and Skype As an Infrastructure Engineer working within the Cash Compliance Fixed Income and Trading organization the candidate will ensure sub-PROD environment availability for various teams using these environments. The candidate will provide a mixture of preventative maintenance and support as well as issue resolution services for issues related to *Oracle, JBoss, Siteminder, Apache, VMWare ESX, Linux, Solaris, Active MQ technologies. * Knowledge and Qualifications: · Candidate should have between 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role · Strong knowledge *in Linux OS* including monitoring runtime health (*e.g., CPU, memory, diskspace)* · Knowledge of VMware ESX computing paradigm and its use in hosting Linux VM · Knowledge of integration between Siteminder, Apache web server, and JBoss EAP · Knowledge of *JDBC* · Knowledge of ActiveMQ connectivity · Rational Clearcase/ClearQuest · Eclipse IDE · Linux/Unix scripting · Knowledge of Autosys (a plus) · Knowledge of Fidessa Minerva and Sentinel services and API, Minerva Open Access (a plus) · Knowledge of JBoss Fuse (a plus) Responsibilities: · To be successful in this role, the candidate must be willing to take direction from various team leads and coordinate with various support, development, BA and QA teams · Perform daily health checks on sub-PROD environment looking for ways to automate the checks as much as possible · Provide teams with daily status reports for each environment · Work with internal teams for request and issue tracking and completion · Coordinate with Infrastructure teams for request and issue tracking and completion · Able to take an issue from identification to resolution along with root cause analysis and documentation and communication · Coordinating with the development team on application deployments to UAT and PROD · Coordination with teams on PROD data refreshes to sub-PROD environments · The ability to work effectively in a global, high performing small team environment · An individual with strong personal ownership and the ability to resolve issues independently • Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports · Maintain the necessary project documentation of all system builds and modifications · Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends · Maintain good working relationships with all service providers to ensure that services received meet expected requirements Thanks & Regards, _______________________________________ *Barnabas K* Sr. Technical Recruiter | OnSpot Serve T: 530-231-4017, Ext: 122 1510 Poole Blvd, Suite 302 Yuba City, CA 95993 E: *[email protected] <[email protected]>* | URL: *www.onspotserve.com <http://www.onspotserve.com/>* Gtalk: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
