*Need Hardware Engineer in MI - 6 Months contract!* *Job Title: Hardware Engineer* *Location: Farmington Hills, MI* *Duration: 6+ months* *Job Description:* ·3+ years of experience in Engineering, working in product development with a preferred focus on electronics and module design. ·Knowledge of and understanding of automotive electronics manufacturing processes a plus. ·Use of vehicle diagnostic analysis and modeling tools to perform electronics system troubleshooting and issue resolution. ·Knowledge of laboratory tools for performing product analysis and testing ·Ability to read circuit schematics and proficient in circuit operation ·Proficient in supplied subsystem sensing and control operation ·Familiar with Supplier manufacturing and processing of component / subsystem ·Perform / submit / maintain release drawings, ICDs, change logs, and work orders ·Ability to become proficient on various customer processes/databases/tools. ·Ability to perform system analysis, diagnosis, and requirements analysis at customer site ·Understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle interfaces and impact upon product performance ·Capability in use of SW reflash and CAN diagnostic tools ·Support production launch activities, including at assembly sites ·Ability and ambition to work under pressure, meet schedules and maintain a high level of output ·Proficiency in the use of Personal Computers (PC's) and Microsoft Office tools. *Company:* A Global IT consulting firm with several large customer engagements across Europe and US.
