Our group supports departments such as Business Affairs, Creative Services, Enterprises, and Program Strategy and Planning. The applications we architect, develop, and support are critical to the creation, marketing, distribution, and reselling of products and are a fundamental part of innovation and success. *PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* - Partner with project managers and business analysts to understand requirements and evaluate and recommend strategic solutions - Lead teams in designing and developing architecturally sound custom applications as well as in implementing and integrating with third-party software packages - Own and oversee documentation of technical architecture design and analysis work - Plan, initiate, and effect changes to the future-state architecture and technical stack of applications - Adhere to and improve on software development processes - Mentor team members to enhance their skillset - Provide support as needed for applications *TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS* Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in: - Domain-driven design, UML, and design patterns - Server-side java technologies such as JEE, Spring, Spring Cloud, Elasticsearch - Implementing RESTful APIs and event driven architectures with cloud-native principles - SQL and database concepts for RDBMS' such as Oracle as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB - Deploying applications on AWS - Front-end frameworks such as AngularJS - Development tools such as GIT, Maven, JUnit, Bamboo, and JIRA *GENERAL REQUIREMENTS* - 4+ years of established track record of defining solutions for and implementing large-scale high-quality software applications - Strong communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel - Drive to master emerging technologies and share experiences with team members - Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills - Solid foundation in troubleshooting application and data issues - Ability to understand goals, strategies, and needs of the business as they relate to application development - Ability to be a self-starter and to handle priorities across multiple projects - Ability to fit into an agile development environment and create a positive influence - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience Please note, this is an Architect role.
