Title: Business Analyst With HealthCare EXP

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.   Performance Measurement:  Assist with the development of measurement
systems and track progress toward corporate performance goals.  Assist line
management with the identification

and research of best in class performance measures.  Conduct research and
analysis to assist with the identification of benchmarks.
2. Organizational Optimization:  Provide support for operational planning
and deployment initiatives, and assist with the development of progress
evaluation and remediation plans.  Develop

effective working relationships with internal and external customers to
drive timely solutions to organizational improvement needs.
3. Change Management: Support project management resources to ensure
changes to processes and responsibilities are set up to succeed and aligned
with corporate goals.  Work with line

management and work force as needed to understand the impact of
organizational changes.
4 Business Process Improvement:  Assist and/or lead the re-engineering of
existing business processes to improve internal efficiency and business
relationships.  Work with IT and project teams to

identify and support operational and technology projects.  Use the results
of organizational analyses to make process design and development
recommendations.
5. Project Support:   Participate and lead the gathering and documenting of
functional, non-functional and user requirements to support projects and
initiatives.  Work with business, IT and

Testing Center of Excellence to ensure requirements support design, build
and testing activities.
6. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience
1. A minimum of Two (2) – Four (4) years of practical experience in using
and applying process improvement best practices and
technologies/methodologies in a structured environment.
2. Four (4) years experience in a Health Insurance Environment or related
insurance experience.
3. Experience with workflow development
4.  Current state and future state mapping

Knowledge
1. Knowledge of classic Business Process Improvement methodologies.
2. Knowledge of managed care principles and high-level understanding of
managed care business functions (e.g. Sales, Membership & Billing, Claims
and Medical Management)
3. Knowledge of project management principles.4. Word processing,
spreadsheet, graphics and presentation software."
