Ability to create complex queries joining multiple tables (5+ years). · Teradata or comparable modern RDBMS experience. · SQL tuning experience including indices and partitioning · Understanding of Windows and Linux server environments including shell scripting, cron jobs, etc. · Understanding of various type of slowly changing dimensions (SCD) and surrogate keys. · Good communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical as well as business staff working on projects. *Preferred but not Required Skills* · Data analysis experience in a health care environment is preferred but not required. · Health care claims data experience such as CPT-4, ICD-9 & 10, is preferred but not required. · Data modeling experience using ERwin. · Experience in a data warehousing environment. · Teradata load utility (fastload, multiload, fastexport) experience is preferred but not required.
