*Please let me know if you have any consultant for this position, please
share it on [email protected] <[email protected]>.*

 *SDET/QA Engineer *

*Job Description: *The client’s IDEAL candidate will have experience with *.NET
(30% of role) and Selenium *

*like to see candidates who have experience with multiple automation tools

*this position is a heads up by the manager and will be opening up in the
vendor system this week!

*Company: *Kelley Blue Book (KBB)

*Location: *Irvine, CA

*Job Title: *SDET/QA Engineer

*Duration: *6+ month contract

*Interview Process: *phone then onsite (won’t hire over Skype)

*Why is the role open: *They are moving away from QA Analysts and going
towards QA Engineers (QA's who have development experience, same as an
SDET). They have a QA Analyst that will not be extended so once their
contract ends they are going to replace with an SDET. This candidate's
contract ends 5/27 and they would like someone to start right then so there
is not lapse.

** They like to see candidates from Western Digital & Experian - They have
a few people from their team that they snatched from there. They will be
looking at the years of experience, they also would like to see experience
with several coding/scripting languages (.Net, JavaScript, PowerShell),
experience with a few different tools.

*Requirements: *

- Initially they will start doing lots of analysis (Manual- 70% of role)
until they build framework for automation structure, then Automation
experience comes into play, this person will be building out an automation
suite – Selenium (automation tool they will be using), C# (is the
language)- they are a Microsoft shop and everything is written in C# so
they really prefer experience with that language.

- They just have a POC now- this person must have this experience building
module phases

- This candidate will be writing framework, writing code not just
scripting. Their goal is for this person to be eventually doing 100%
automation, unit testing and scripts.

- Need to have experience writing framework/coding in: .Net or may consider
Java, CMS (Adobe product built in Java) if we can’t find experience with
.Net (30% of role)

- Must have a BA Degree

- Experience working in a Scrum type environment is a HUGE Plus

*Kind Regards ..*
