The Project Manager must be able to follow State, Department, OIT and Application Services processes and procedures. This candidate must be a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and have a working understanding of Oversight Project Management responsibilities. Senior Level Project Manager – Duties/ Tasks: The submitted candidate must be able to perform the following duties and/or tasks: Coordinates and integrates oversight project activities. Manages, leads, or administers OIT project resources. Monitors project deliverables and activities to mitigate risk. Monitors, implements, and/or maintains quality assurance processes. Monitors and facilitates change control management throughout the lifecycle of the project. Evaluates, monitors, or ensures compliance with state, federal and FDOT/OIT laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures. Ensure compliance with the Agency for State Technology (AST) standards for Project Management and Oversight. Provides input into Application Services project management methods and practices. Senior Level Project Manager – KSAs: The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: General: Communication Skills: Have the ability to clearly convey information to individuals or groups in a wide variety of settings (i.e.; project team meetings, vendor meetings, management presentations, change control board).
