Person needs to be savvy in terms of multi-threading, DB access, querying, performance optimization, memory management, IO performance. DUTIES: Work with the architect, BA to come up with the system requirement specification/design for their modules. Code development in Java environment with specific focus on performance, memory usage, DB writing. Checking code development is as per the standards laid down by the architecture group - in terms of services, standard practices, development of components, efficiency. Test cases development and unit testing of the code developed. Mentoring of the Mumbai team and being responsible for the development of their code. 1> Delivery of the System Specification/Design based on the BRD and Risk Architecture Specifications. 2> Delivery of the modules in time. 3> Ensure proper unit testing has been done. REQUIRED: Experience in the financial industry with 5-7 yrs experience. First degree in a engineering/science subject. Java developer. Min 3-5 years experience of working in an analytics project.
