*Job Details and Skills* • Develop, architect, configure, implement and deploy out-of-the-box and tailored VMware software and computer application solutions to ensure successful customer/partner implementation of virtualized datacenter. • Work independently to provide customers with technical leadership in the installation, configuration and implementation of VMware products and services working on complex issues requiring advanced evaluation of variable factors. • Analyze user needs and software business requirements to determine appropriate technical solutions. Utilize professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways in support of customer deployment and configuration initiatives. • Identify, analyze and/or document technical issues to optimize operational efficiency in cloud-based environments. • Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and VMware product and service solutions for obtaining best results. • In connection with the above duties, apply knowledge and/or skills of analyzing business requirements to define and develop software solutions; configuring, testing and documenting functional design and technical specifications; systems testing and validation; SQL and relational databases; Unix/Linux/Windows Operating Systems.
