*Project:* Client has a number of mid to large scale platform initiatives
for the next 3- 6 months. *The developer will be working on client side
application logic and ui / style. Our tech stack is Node / Express and
React / Sass.* We can bend a little on the React part (I would settle for
strong Angular, backbone etc) if we find it hard to get contractors with
this limitation.
*Contractor MUST haves:*
- *Experience working in medium to large size Single Page Applications *
- Experience with *React and sass*
- *Independent developer capable of turning a story (task) into code;
asks questions when needed. *

- 6 People (4 Web Engineers, 1 Senior Web Engineer, 1 Manager)

*Responsibilities include:*
Current role: we are looking for someone who does web application
development. This includes that includes caching, session
management, pre-rendering, HTTP, and Cookies.

- Moving into a web pack

- Service layer is *REST backed by Scala and our Web backend is in
Node*

- Prefer – worked on application (react, angular, backbone

web users. The right candidate understands application level design
patterns and can break down complex tasks in clear and concise ways. You
should have a strict attention to detail and be comfortable learning
and applying the newest concepts within our industry. We expect you to jump
into our tech stack (node / react / es2015 / docker) and make a

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy new features and enhancements on iheart.com
- Propose and advocate for clean, functional design systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Produce responsive and cross browser/platform features
- Build reusable components and scalable architecture
- Introduce and understand development best practices, usability, and
semantics
- Work with our backend services team to ensure a cohesive end product
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience developing data-driven web applications
- Experience with *application frameworks / libraries (React / Angular /
Ember / Backbone etc), React a huge plus*
- Comfortable coding in *vanilla JavaScript, knowledge of Javascript
fundamentals. ES6/ES2015 a plus*
- *Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques *
- Knowledge of HTML semantics, the DOM API, CSS fundamentals and the
basics of HTTP, knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, new APIs and HTTP2 a plus
- Desire to continuously learn new languages, platforms and skills
