Will be part of an extremely talented software and leadership team that works on and helps architect mission critical applications. Responsible for Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. Job Requirements: 10+ years’ experience in Java and Java EE building enterprise-scale applications Experience with front-end technologies like Nodejs, Angular, JQuery 3+ years’ experience in RESTful services 3+ years’ experience in event-driven architectures 10+ years’ experience in relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server and persistence frameworks (Hibernate, JPA, etc.) Expertise in Automated Testing (such as Junit, TestNG, JMeter, Selenium) Experience with planning, estimating and working in Agile development environment Mastery of object oriented design, design patterns, data structures and multithreaded algorithms Experience with large scale ecommerce and order management systems (including front end integration, back end, restful architectures and creating platform teams). Preferred Experience 5+ years’ experience in Spring 3+ years’ experience in analytics design and concepts, including NoSQL databases (Cassandra or MongoDB preferred) Advanced knowledge of Linux or UNIX Cloud architecture and deployment with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure Expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Chef, Maven, Ant, etc.) Qualifications Proven ability to leverage technology to create business value and maximize return on investment. Expert at building solutions that scale, perform well and are practical to maintain. Effective, personable leader who avoids the extremes of ordering team members around and being blown in the wind as a leader. Actively seeks the counsel and help of other experts. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong analytical/problem solving skills. Expertise in Agile development, both on-site and remote teams. Lead architecture, design, development and deployment of high-volume web applications. Work with clients to facilitate architecture decisions and lead regular code reviews. Mentor and coach team members to foster ongoing professional development. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing demands from multiple stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication. Prior consulting experience preferred. BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
