*Title: Data Test Engineer* *Location: Reston, VA* *Duration: 12 Months* *Job Description:* This test engineer needs to have strong experiences in testing a large scale data warehouse that aggregates data from a large number of data sources with strong data analysis skill, also hands on automation scripting experience. The candidate should have strong experience on Java based application testing, with basic Java programming or Java scripting skillset. This person should be dependable individual with a proven track record of strong results. The candidate should be able to develop and implement test cases for large/small projects independently. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to influence our product and business strategy by synthesizing business/customer needs, and delivering both strategic and tactical recommendations. Hands on automation expire is required. The resource should be able to create, build and maintain an automation framework, as well as strong data testing skillset. *Required Skills:* 5+ years of *Oracle* experience 3+ years of *web service testing experience/ SoapUI experience* 2+ years of *Java programming/Java scripting* 3+ years of *Data Warehouse* (i.e. Informatica, Ab Initio) solution experience including strong SQL skills 2+ years *BI (Cognos, Query Studio) testing experience, including a strong understanding of the business requirements* Detailed *Data warehouse testing knowledge including experience writing complex SQL, ETLs and BI. * A proven ability to collaborate well with cross functional groups and virtual teams to effectively solve technical challenges.
