Heavy Capital Markets business experience. *Description*: The Application Architect/Development Manager is a leadership role that will provide guidance and architectural oversight to create well-defined solutions that are aligned to the IT Strategy and leverage defined best practices, standards, common solutions and services. The individual will lead small team of developers providing technical guidance, managing the architecture governance process, setting standards, reviewing architecture alternatives, performing technical evaluations and developing architectural artifacts. *Required: * · Minimum 8 years experience including 8+ years as an applications developer/manager and 2+ years as an Application Architect in Capital Markets and Microsoft technologies .Net and C# · Strong record of experiences in the Capital Markets business · Team player with the capability and desire to lead small team of developers · Knowledge of Services Oriented Architecture · Solid Expertise in a broad range of Web and rich client development technologies ( Microsoft.Net, XML, Web Services etc.) · Experience with different reporting/BI tools such as Microsoft Reporting Services · Extensive experience in developing architecture artifacts, design artifacts, analyzing, defining and documenting requirements for data, processes and interfaces with internal and external systems. · Able to perform application architecture, design and code-level reviews · Strong understanding of OOAD, UML models, design patterns and application development processes and practices · Expertise in relational database management systems (Oracle.
