Please let me know if you have any consultant for this position, Please share it on m...@onspotserve.com Job Title : IT PMO Project Consultant Location : Houston, TX Duration : 12-18 months Interview Mode : Telephonic followed by F2F (Must be local) End Client : American Bureau of Shipping *Note* – They want someone to start next week *Job Description:* o The qualified candidate will possess 7+ years of experience in three major areas, including: IT PMO, Project Coordinator experience (or PM with some coordination and must be IT Environment, and Strong PMBOK/PMI background. o Senior IT PMO Project Consultant who will work directly with the project managers to ensure that projects are running smoothly, are within scope, budget and schedule. *Required Skills:* · Work directly with project managers to ensure that projects are running smoothly, and are within scope, budget, and schedule · Responsible for ensuring projects meet project and quality standards set forth by the PMO · Gathers all project information, including schedules, requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings · Works with project team to understand and assist with the tracking of all work, task and project assignments · Monitors and modifies project schedules as assigned · Coordinates project reporting to team and management · Maintains document control, tracks project activities and team communications · Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent, from an accredited university or equivalent industry experience · Proven Project Coordinator experience on large scale projects and programs; knowledge of IT project management. Strong experience with the PMI PMBOK framework. · At least three years of experience working in an IT PMO providing guidance and support to program and project managers including but not limited to the following project deliverables: project charters, project management plans, stage gate reviews, lessons learned, etc. · Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective · Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful IT project outcomes · Understanding of project monitoring and control processes within a fast-paced environment. Includes performing project recovery, health checks and audits · Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, collaboration, and assertiveness; asks questions to gain full understanding. · Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills. Self-starter who is very detailed oriented.
