*Role: Network Engineer/AdministratorLocation: Philadelphia, PA.Duration: 10+ Months Contract * *Responsibilities: *Support, troubleshoot and customize enterprise management, monitoring and automation systems Maintain scripts and small programs; integrate tools, participate in system testing and needs assessment as part of a development team Maintain the software that monitors the performance, speed, configuration and security of the network, optimizing the utilization of the network and computing resources Detect bottlenecks and DoS attacks Monitoring critical network and system components such as routers, switches, servers, and storage Manage network monitoring using automation toolsets *Minimum Qualification:*Minimum of two years of related technical experience in a Linux environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with IT Infrastructure Monitoring tools for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics and/or Application, Infrastructure Availability and Performance Management: HP OpenView, CA Spectrum, CA eHealth, BMC Proactivenet, BMC Truesight, Airwave, Munin, Zenoss, JIRA. A detailed understanding of IP networking technologies (including SNMP v3 debugging and routing protocols) required. Understanding of 802.11 WLAN technologies preferred; experience with network management applications and MIBs; familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Brocade command lines desirable. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and to learn technical skills independently.
