really want to do phone interviews unless the candidate insists.
Need to hire ASAP.
NOT a developer position: Resource will work on production support team and
work closely with Developers.
Job Description:
Production Support Analyst III
Daily Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Provide production support for Financial reporting application.
• Perform batch job execution, monitoring.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis working with Dev
team.
• Implement production changes and perform system shakeout.
• Working with business, DBAs and Dev team coordinate Data Correction
• Send out issue notification to larger audience and also run conference
call in case of production issues.
• Expected to work weekends and evenings during the critical processing
window.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in IT or related filed is preferred.
• 7-10 years of IT Application production Support experience.
• UNIX, Autosys and Oracle skills essential.
• Hands on experience in Putty, Toad required.
• Should be familiar with MS Tools such as Excel, Visio, MS project
• Effective team player, good communication skills, and adaptive to new
project support initiatives.
Off Hours Pager Required - will have pager shift work weekly or bi-weekly.
No more than 8 working hours a day.
