A SAS Grid Administrator needs to be a SAS Administrator plus a Systems Administrator to some extent. Experience * Implementing, administering and supporting SAS Grid and / or other Enterprise SAS Products / other Analytics products. * SAS Grid functionality - load balancing, resource management, setup of queues, prioritization, manage jobs and thresholds * Monitoring and troubleshooting SAS services * Installing and configuring SAS software, implementing hotfixes software patches and licenses - server and desktop based components * Troubleshooting SAS environments * SAS Metadata Management - user management, defining libraries, setting permissions and access controls, creating metadata folder structures * Backup and restore strategies * Security and Authentication (related to the access of source data within SAS on the SAS servers across the different business organizations as well as SAS integration with tools such as Active Directory * Implementing security, governance processes for SAS products * Unix/Linux Shell Scripting LSF Administration. Integration with enterprise Control-M scheduling system. * Has gone through at least one full implementation cycle and supported SAS Grid post-install (at least 6 months) Able to assist with modifying SAS code to leverage SAS Grid process capabilities to reduce run times and improve throughput.
