Senior Network Engineer – Contract to Hire URGENT (LOCALS ONLY) Location: Hayward CA
Interview Mode: Phone and Onsite Work Status – TN-Visa, Citizen, Green Card EAD GC Job Key Points: It is O.K. if these folks are light on Windows, however it would be nice for them to be familiar with VmWare and/or Cisco UCS. Between VmWare and UCS, I would say UCS knowledge is more important. We currently have an issue with VmWare, UCS and/or Network and are engaging resource(s) from VmWare and/or Quest to help us troubleshoot this issue. So the VmWare knowledge might not be crucial moving forward. In the event you find strong Cisco switches, routers and LAN/WAN resource, three things they could be working on are :: 1. Replacing the existing CISCO 7K switches at Hayward with “TBD” (7k series or 9K) and moving these 7k to Sacramento 2. Improving our network monitoring & alerting 3.
