As a SAS/RACF Consultant, you must have:
- SAS:
- Knowledge and experience with SAS functions:
- Use of the PROC PRINT AND PROC REPORT functions
- Use of reading and creating External z/OS files
- Use of PROC SQL with:
- DB2 tables
- Non-DB2 tables
- Merging SAS datasets
- Being able to use interactive SAS and creating/modifying SAS
batch processes.
- RACF:
- RACF Administration. Candidate should have familiarity with the
following:
- Commands for Userids such as ADDUSER, ALTUSER, DELUSER
- Resources commands RDEFINE, RALTER, RDELETE
- RACDCERT commands for Digital Certificates.
- RACF Utilities such as IRRDBU00 (RACF DB Dump Utility) and IRRADU00
(SMF Dump Utility) programs.
- z/SECURE functions and familiarity of using CARLA.
- RACF IBM Utilities – IDCAMS, IEBGENER and others.
- Mainframe:
- Overall knowledge of JCL
