The contract is slated to go up to a year, and the manager is requiring an on-site interview, so candidates MUST be able to do an in-person interview on-site. Project Scope: Will be doing enhancements and troubleshooting. Will be eventually integrating from the COBOL bigdata platform Qualifications and Desired Skills: · Onsite interview is mandatory · Work experience of 3-5 years required · Must have skills are COBOL, JCL, DB2 · Must have experience writing SQL queries · Experience with financial data, large data applications · Experience processing large amounts of data · Exposure to Netezza is a plus Job Description and Responsibilities: · Do enhancements and troubleshooting · Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications. · Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. · Translates detailed design into computer software. · Codes, tests, debug, maintains and refines the computer software to produce the required product. · Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. · Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency Regards, Pearl Carrol | Technical Recruiter Talent Acquisition Dept.
