Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile.* *Role: Firewall Engineer * *Location: Seattle, WA* *Duration: **6+ Months Contract* *Rate: $55/hr on C2C MAX(NOT NEGOTIABLE)* *Summary * Checkpoint Firewall Engineer supporting an Enterprise Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant work experience in *CISCO PIX/ASA, Checkpoint and Juniper Netscreen firewall engineering and administration. * *Responsibilities:* • Configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure, working with Checkpoint/Juniper. • Manage the firewall deployment, rules migrations, and firewall administration. • Responsible for converting existing rule base onto new platforms. • In depth knowledge and certifications on Checkpoint/Juniper. • Thoroughly familiar with CISCO PIX/ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint models, capabilities, and architectures • Fully versed in the syntax of security platforms, and rule verification • Engineering experience designing and deploying large scale LAN/WAN networks • Ensure that notification is sent to all Stakeholders for required changes/upgrades • Represent the changes at the weekly change review meetings and update network diagrams and all other applicable documents. *Extensive experience with:* • Strong hands on experience with *Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls.* • Demonstrated hands on experience with configuring firewalls and managing issues. • Strong knowledge of network *protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLAN, TCP/IP, etc.).* • Experience securing a large inter network establishing and enforcing policies and monitoring access. • Required Skills: • Checkpoint, Juniper, CISCO PIX/ASA Firewalls • Rules and Policy Pushes • Firewall Administration *Qualifications:* • At least 5 year’s experience deploying, configuring, and administering Checkpoint/Juniper firewalls. • *CISSP or CCSA desired.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
