*if remote, ability to work eastern time zone hours preferred.* I have a need for a SOA developer – someone who is very familiar with using Java to develop SOAP and REST based web services integrations. They should be very familiar with developing XML data schema definitions (XSD’s) based on a record structure they are given. They should be very comfortable with developing web service definitions (WSDL’s) based on a set of methods defined against a schema definition, and very comfortable with the concepts of asynchronous and synchronous web services, error handling in web services integration, and push/push or push/pull type interaction types. The resource should be able to learn company's standard WSDL and middleware stack based on Java and implement new client integrations based on the stack. They should have good Java development skills and be comfortable accessing data via standard methods such as JDBC and using typical IDE’s such as Netbeans or Eclipse.
