*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Job Title : Java Developer Location : Central NJ Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Responsibilities: Working as part of the team to engineer, design, develop, test, and implement high volume Internet application software. Designs and develops applications in accordance with specs. Meets engineering, design, and coding deliverable deadlines throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate with team leaders and managers on ongoing status, milestones, and success. Leverage direction set by architects to ensure consistency across multiple applications. Performs unit and systems testing of applications/solutions. Resolves all defects/issues reported. Troubleshoots and supports solutions on an ongoing basis. A willingness and ability to learn new technologies is a must. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Strong experience with Java, J2EE, JSF, SOAP, JWS, WSDL, Web Services, OOAD and multi-tier software architecture 3+ years hands on experience developing Web application using Java technology including JSP, Servlets, Java Beans, JDBC, XML, XSL, XSLT, and Java based XML API's. Working knowledge of Eclipse IDE is preferable. Understanding the basics of multi-threaded application development is a must. Familiarity with application servers (Weblogic, WebSphere, iPlanet, Oracle Application Server, etc.) Hands-on technical expertise in MQ Series, JSM, XML, HTML, ISAPI. Relational databases (Oracle preferred). Thorough understanding of software development processes, methodologies and knowledge of the complete product development life cycle. Experience in either RUP and associated tools(Rational Clearcase, Clearquest) or a set of basic tools (ANT, korn-shell, awk, CVS) is desired. 1+ years Unix/Linux experience desirable. Knowledge of data binding technologies like Castor is a big plus. Experience with application deployment is a plus.
