I am a Sr Executive Recruiter at Sonoma Consulting and I am currently working on filling an exciting new opportunity for a Sitecore Architect that will be based at Houston- TX *Job Title:** Sitecore Architect* *Location:** Houston- TX* *Duration: 6-12 months to start, extension likely* *Interview: 2 Phone screens, then In-person/Skype. Will be a Background Check * *Must Have Strong experience with: * Enterprise Architecture, Project Management skills, Designing & Developing Sitecore based web application, Sitecore CMS/WCM 6.5 & Above, ASP.Net Web application design and coding, Any CMS tool (SharePoint, Umbraco, Kentico, Site infinity etc.), Extensive ASP.Net MVC experience *Key Responsibilities include: * Ø Actively work with the account team to establish strategy for the account Implement Sitecore architecture, visualization and development processes Coordinate globally dispersed development, QA, deployment and reuse Ø Maintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide trends Utilize deep understanding of Sitecore solutions to make appropriate decisions Ø Translate the client’s business requirements into systems design Ø Establish high, mid and micro level plans, and estimates for project teams Identify and manage risk on project *Job Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent military experience Minimum of 6 years’ experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and /or interactive design and architecture experience Experience providing a vision to the total solution, managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision Frequent travel is required *Business Skills and Experience: * Ø Proven leadership and managerial skills to independently manage teams, during multiple phases of the project lifecycle Strong skills to effectively interface with client executives and multi-task Sapient teams Ø Demonstrated consulting skills, including client relationships and team facilitation Well-developed organizational and interpersonal communications skills Ø General understanding of the business environment, models and motivations Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting facilitation, presentation and documentation Ø Good business analysis/redesign skills with architecture and implementation experience Ø Requirements analysis, conceptual, logical and detailed design skills Configuration planning, testing, change management and support experience Ø Project management with complex projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred *Technical Skills and Experience * Ø Experience into designing and developing Sitecore based web application (Sitecore [6.5 and above] CMS/WCM preferably) Ø Experience in developing complex, high-availability, high-volume, n-tier applications Expert in ASP.Net Web application design and coding Ø Understands the use of CMS and use of page/data template, content types, Work flow, content authoring and approval process.
