Job Title: .Net Developer Location: Little Rock, AR Duration: 16 Months Need 2 references DFA has a variety of custom, aging applications written in older, unsupported technologies. These are primarily VB6 Windows forms-based applications or applications running on an MS SQL 2000 database. DFA is modernizing all custom development by transitioning to web-based, HTML5 applications using supported versions of MS SQL Server. 8+ yrs .Net development Designs and develops web applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle Understand and abide to the design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. Integrates applications by working with new and legacy databases and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers. Develop system data flow, integration diagrams Completes applications development by coordinating with requirement owner, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities Collaborates effectively with creative team and web designers during the creative process.
