Skype is possible if not from the area. * *JOB DESCRIPTION:* *Top Three Skills:* 1. Able to work independently and seek out answers. This is very important as the team is very small so they must be able to work independently. 2. Strong background with SSIS as the ETL. 3. Strong ETL, SSIS, Json based, SQL development, SQL Server, Tableau (plus), Java (plus), BI experience (they have a homegrown based Java system for this). Dematic is the world's leading supplier of automated material handling systems for manufacturing, production, warehousing, and distribution. The Dematic Campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan is home to the Corporate U.S. Headquarters, manufacturing plants, and Technology Center. Regional engineering and field offices are strategically located near major cities across North America. Kion Group acquired Dematic out of Germany and the transition should be complete by end of 4th Quarter. The consultant will be doing project work, debugging with a lot of focus on getting data from source system and moving that to the DW system with SSIS. There is some possible report writing and analytics works as there are projects lining up. *Additional Information: *It is possible that this *could turn into a full-time role* if our consultant is interested, but not required. *Work Environment:* We have had a long existing relationship with Dematic but have primarily done direct placement work. This will be a big opportunity for us to get in a consulting resource and help them solve an immediate problem. *Who is the Internal/External Customer:* Our consultant will be working with the existing IT team to develop a solution to assist their external client. Our developer will be responsible for working directly with the client to gather requirements and come up with a solution. *Impact to the Internal/External Customer:* They have several internal clients that they need to take care of and with the loss of employees they cannot support them so it is crucial to hire our consultant. *Business Challenge:* The biggest challenge that they see they will be working to leverage existing assets to help with the customer needs. Experience in this area would help.
