The following requisition has been assigned: TITLE: Data Investigation STATUS: Open JOB CODE: 15388 LOCATION: Tampa, FL, United States # of Openings: 1 Permanent Requisition Details: 1. Maintains data dictionary by revising and entering definitions. 2. Determines changes in physical database by studying project requirements; identifying database characteristics, such as location, amount of space, and access method. 3. Changes database system by coding database descriptions. 4. Mine data from primary and secondary sources. 5. Clean and prune data to discard irrelevant information. 6. Analyze and interpret results using standard statistical tools and techniques. 7. Identify new opportunities for process improvement. 8. Design, create and maintain relational databases and data systems. 9. Triage code problems and data-related issues. 10. Protects database by developing access system; specifying user level of access. 11. Maintains user reference by writing and rewriting database descriptions. 12. Ability to query the database and analyze the data. 13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 14. Experience with ErWin. 15. Experience in a hands-on analytical role, with focus on Root Cause Analysis and Behavioral Analysis. 16. Takes a proactive role to bring about change, applying new ways to develop the business through *performance analysis* and process improvement recommendations. 17. *Analytical Skills*: Data analysts work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. You will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions. 18. *Communication Skills*: Data analysts are often called to present their findings, or translate the data into an understandable document.
