*Position: Financial Analyst *

*Duration 6+ months *

*Job Description*

Coordinate project-related activities and resources of the IT organization
and business to ensure goals and objectives of projects are accomplished
within stipulated cost and time.

Facilitate the resource and financial management processes by tracking and
analyzing resources, committed and actual effort and costs and by
administering the resource scheduling system.

Monitor and update project-related information, including the creation of
new projects, migration of time and entry of project-related budgets and
purchase orders (“POs”) in SharePoint and Oracle.

Prepare reports and summaries of results to be used at various levels of
the organization

   - Utilize Excel and /or other tools to analyze planned and actuals for
   both budget and resource metrics and to provide visibility of resource
   utilization and/or availability to IT management.
   - Oversee project initiation / close activities by supporting Project
   Management staff with final budget to actuals, final project plans and
   project site archiving, completed project reviews, and surveys.
   - Partner with Operations Release Manager and Project Managers to
   coordinate release management meetings and activities.
   - Administer IT project management and project accounting in Oracle,
   including project creation, time migration, PO creation, and invoice
   processing to Accounting and Finance teams.

Administer SharePoint for portfolio of projects; monitor inputs and status
of projects, maintain a change log of key changes and analyze impacts to
the portfolio; create project sites, set up permissions, troubleshoot user
issues, etc.

*Education and Experience*

   - Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management, Computer Science,
   Finance, Accounting or other related discipline, or equivalent work
   experience, required.
   - A minimum of five (5) years of working experience, or equivalent
   experience required.
   - A minimum of two years of experience in a project-oriented environment
   preferred.
   - Prior experience with SharePoint
   - Conceptual knowledge of information technology and project management
   methodologies preferred.
   - Experience with financial and accounting processes and procedures
   preferred.

Experience in Oracle Financials at operations Level is desired

·         Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability
to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

·         Attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical, problem
solving and conceptual skills to support project reporting requirements.

·         Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple
tasks within agreed upon timeframes through autonomous, effective
prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment.

·         Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable
department timelines and proactively follow up with internal and external
customer needs.

·         Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks and
respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize
their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.

·         Good computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
(i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required.
