*Position: Project/Program Manager*
Location: San Rafael, CA
Duration: 12 months

*Responsibilities*
- Writing, editing, and producing communications with the goal of
increasing the company’s awareness of our services and highlighting the
value that we bring to the company.
- In addition to creating original content, the Communications Specialist
edits material written by
other EIS team members; revising, rewriting, and reorganizing for clarity,
ease of comprehension, global criteria, consistency, and effectiveness.
- Develops content for a wide variety of communications deliverables such
as newsletter articles, FAQs, surveys, talking points, leadership messages,
how-to information, company announcements, website content, video content,
PowerPoint presentations, blog postings, and more.
- Develops and executes communication strategy and plans for IT projects of
varying sizes and complexity.
- Implements communications effectiveness research methods such as surveys,
interviews, and other feedback mechanisms.
- Assists with meeting planning and content creation (for example, team
“all hands meetings”).
- Assist with the design, content, and delivery of EIS company newsletters
as needed.
- Assist in managing the content on the EIS intranet (SharePoint) site and
maintaining it as an
effective communications vehicle.

*Qualifications *
- Ability to articulate and communicate professionally with excellent
writing and editing skills.
- Ability to translate technical knowledge into compelling and easily
consumable content.
- Ability to plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an
organized fashion.
- Proficient in communicating to a global, culturally diverse audience.
- Familiar with current communications trends and best practices.
- Expert with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is highly desirable.
- Experience with social media tools; familiar with best practices.
- Experience in audio and video conferencing methods and tools.
- Experience with digital video recording, editing, and production is
desired.
- Understanding of different communication channels, including emerging
media and which
channels are most effective for desired outcomes.
