Position : Senior Embedded Engineer
Location : Simi Valley, CA

Job Description :
Embedded Software Engineer –Requirements and V&V
BS in Engineering or related field.
Five years minimum experience in the design of software, systems and
hardware or
Exposure to a large complex system. Control Systems related experience
preferred.
Strong experience in Software development using C, device driver
development like ARINC 429, CAN, SPI, I2Cetc.
Proficiency in RTCA DO 178B/C guidelines
Proficiency in techniques to define and track requirements.
Experience in Model Based Development (MBD) using SCADE is preferred.
Practical Knowledge of Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System
(DOORS) or equivalent software required.
Demonstrated working knowledge of requirements decomposition,
flow-down and allocation of performance parameters to lower level
specifications.
An excellent communicator with the ability to educate peers on the
principles of Verification & Validation, requirements allocation and
systems engineering practices within an interdisciplinary R&D team.
Exposure to TI’s DSP processors like TMS series and ARM9 processors is
preferred.
