Rate:$35/Hr * Position:Jr.Business Analyst (Financial) - 3 positions Location: Birmingham, AL Duration:3+ Months – Contract To Hire Job description: The Payment Solutions team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to contribute to our Digital Banking group. The individual in this role will interface between the IT Team and the client/Business. The Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and requirements and user needs. This individual will work with stakeholders and requestors to document requirements and define the project Required Knowledge/Skills (Excellent organization skills, etc.) and IT Skills (ex. Programming skills with Java, Cobol, etc.) Qualifications: Serve as the Business Analyst in the Scrum development process. Understand project scope, business goals, product functionality and desired features. Elicit, analyze and document business requirements in coordination with end users and management. Analyze high level requirements and translate them into more detailed user stories and other functional requirements documents such as process flows Communicate with developers to clarify requirements for development and assist in evaluating alternatives to determine appropriate solutions. Identify and assist in resolving issues, questions and requirements gaps quickly and effectively. Participate in change request process and escalate changes for approval. Collaborate with product customer to prioritize development of features and prepare the backlog for sprint planning. Test new functionality to ensure product meets business needs prior to releasing. Assist liaisons in development of tests and ongoing testing activities. Required: Two+ (2+) years of experience as an IT Business Analyst. One or more years of experience working with Scrum Software development team. Experience using Jira Minimum 1 year of experience as an IT Business Analyst. Experience in agile development processes.
