Please find the below our *direct client requirement* and please send me your consultants resume to *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Title: Senior Selenium TesterLocation: Herndon, VA Duration: 6+ Months* *Need only localsMust have 10+ Years experience * Job Summary: The Selenium Automation Engineer will work closely with development teams in developing and executing test automation scripts and automation frameworks to be used for functional and regression testing of both batch processing and interactive applications developed. Position Responsibilities: • Design and develop automation tests for software development projects, including both batch processing and interactive applications • Contribute to the development and promotion of design and coding standards for automated testing scripts • Provide tool expertise and design, and coding assistance • Create automated test data/conduct database queries as required to evaluate software functionality. • Create defect tracking for application deficiencies found during automated testing. • Enforce quality standards and procedures for automation through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Qualifications: MINIMUM: • Bachelor’s degree; additional equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute for the level of education. • *5+ years’ experience in software testing or software Quality Assurance (QA) * *• 5+ years’ coding experience in one or more of Python, Java or Javascript * • In-depth knowledge of test automation tools, techniques, methods and procedures. • Strong conceptual understanding of unit, component, integration, functional, performance/load, and regression testing and the ability to operationalize those concepts into appropriate test plans and strategies. • Development experience using Selenium 2 WebDriver with Java • Experience in automating test cases using Fit, Fitnesse, or Cucumber • Experience with automating REST APIs and web services testing using SOAP UI, Junit or TestNG • Experience with automating interactive web application testing • Good SQL language skills, including writing query syntax and using SQL tools. • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills. • Strong verbal and written skills for clearly directing team members’ efforts and for effectively communicating results to management • Strong problem solving and decision making skills • Strong sense of urgency; ability to review facts and escalate issues with recommendations and contingencies to Project Manager • Live within a commutable distance of Herndon, VA. *Thanks, Prasad Rao* Phone: *630-883-4515 Ext 402, 630 364 1698* | *[email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
