*Title: Sr. System administrator Location: Cupertino, CA Duration: Long term.* - Strong understanding of web APIs and integrations (SOAP, REST, etc.). - Exposure to config management platforms such as Puppet is needed, Puppet Enterprise is a big plus. - Experience with configuring and tuning Apache, PHP, Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL database systems. - Experience with large scale/high volume storage and SAN with understanding of FC, SCSI, VxFS, etc. - Understanding of and ability to discuss converged and hyper-converged architectures/technologies such as ScaleIO, VSA, and Nutanix a plus. - Experience with converged platforms such as Nutanix a huge plus. - Familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure Management tools such as Nlyte, RFCode, Raritan, Rack wise is a plus. - Experience with task automation platforms such as HP Operations Orchestration, Puppet MCO, Ansible, Run-deck a plus. - Experience with network management platforms such an HP Network Automation a plus. - Working knowledge of routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls and associated networking technologies. - Firm understanding of protocol stacks, troubleshooting and OSI model a must. - Experience with load balancing, firewall and application delivery platforms such as F5 a huge plus. - Experience with SDN and web scale architectures a plus. - Basic Mac knowledge both hardware and software/Mac OS is a plus.
