Role: Oracle EBS Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 15 months Client an Equal Opportunity Employer is seeking an Oracle EBS technical developer, who will primarily support R12 Finance modules at a large public sector client. As required, the resource will be asked to work with the other techno-functional consultants to work on non-finance modules. The resource will work with an existing support team that has consistently acheived significant technical and functional enhancements for the client across several years. Specific responsibilities include the following : The resource will be utilized in a Production support role for EBS R12 application Trouble shoot production support issues and resolve bugs Develop new enhancements as required Provide 24/7 on call support if required Work onsite, with average of 40 hours per week Work with the support team in addressing issues and enhanciung functionality of various other modules of ERP. The resource must have 6 - 8 relevant experience in the following EBS modules: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Grants and Project Accounting. We seek someone who has exceptional critical thinking capabilities that would be essential in performing root cause analysis and issue resolution, desigining and developing solutions, and working with clients to improve productivity with the maximized use of the Oracle modules. Technical skills inlcude the following: Oracle Pl/SQL , SQL, Workflow,XML publisher, Oracle Forms and Reports , and Unix Shell scripting.
