Installing/Upgrading Datastage 8.1 on HP-UX***

· *Install Data Stage on 8.1 in Unix environment , *
· *Datastage upgrade experience and *
· *Parallel extender experience. *

*ORGINICAL REQUIREMENT:*

We have an immediate requirement for a DataStage Upgrade specialist. The
person needs to have 7-10 years of experience with hands-on experience in
upgrading from DataStage 7.5 to 8.1
The person should also be an expert in HP-UX environment
Experience in developing DataStage jobs using parallel server, performance
tuning of jobs (from both application and infra layer) and knowledge of
LINUX will be a plus,

*Job Description: - Required Skills*
Ø 4-8+ Years of enterprise-level BI/Data Warehousing/Analytics
experience including relational & dimensional modeling.
Ø Responsible for designing a holistic BI environment from ETL through
to the end-user applications.
Ø Expert in Relational Database Programming & Design Concepts.
Ø Expert in Advanced data modeling techniques, including star schemas,
Kimball methodologies & ETL strategies
Ø Responsible for Performing Technology reviews, change
management/production control, design & code review.
Ø Responsible for overseeing internally developed BI solutions to
reduce the risk of security compromises or performance & scalability issues.
Ø Produce and maintain internal documentation for the purpose of
design specifications, technical concepts.
Ø Thorough knowledge of Best practices & methodologies in designing,
maintaining and building conceptual, logical & physical database models.
Ø Considerable experience in using Data Modeling tools like Erwin,
Visio etc.
Ø Has performed multiple OLTP, OLAP and DSS implementations.
Ø ETL design & implementation experience (SSIS experience is a must).
Ø Very good knowledge of SQL Server 2005/8 along with knowledge of
other mainstream database technologies.
Ø Experience in using Microsoft BI and Analytical tools (e.g.
SSAS,SSRS, etc)
Ø Knowledge of Database Clustering/Synchronization.
Ø Experience of working in a Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment
preferable
