*Short Description: *
Software Engineer with 4-6 years experience in OOAD, C++ and real-time
embedded applications
Experience, in Telecommunications or Data Networking
Works independently, as well within a team environment
*Complete Description: *
Design, code, test and integrate software solutions for new product
development on a multi-shelf OTN switch product (7100).
Perform feasibility studies for potential new features.
Follow development methodology on all software development and support
activities.
Act as a subject matter expert in the creation and review of technical
documentation and procedures.
Initiate and contribute to product and process improvement activities.
Act as a resource in the resolution of implementation defects and issues.
Provides guidance to team
*Experience:*
At least 4-6 years overall embedded Software Engineering experience,
preferably in a Telecommunications or Data Networking field.
Experience working with real-time debugging & profiling tools, RTOS and
formal configuration management (Clearcase, and ClearQuest) is highly
desired. Proficiency in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) along
with coding in C++ in an embedded application is required.
Knowledge of software methodology on large projects
Must be able to work independently, as well within a team environment
