Role: VMware/ Windows administrator Location: new Jersey Duration: 6+ months Rate: $50/hr C2C *Job Description:* -The System Administrators role is to build, configure, deploy, support, and maintain HP servers running Microsoft Windows as well as hosted applications from an OS perspective. -The role will support VMWare ESX, Terminal Server, Citrix, Active Directory, Patch link, etc. -The System Administrator should resolve complex hardware and software integration issues, interfacing with database administration, software development, network support personnel, and vendors to coordinate solutions. -Provide guidance to junior level staff when necessary and create periodic status reports for management. *Required Skills:* -Should have got good exposure to *SMS and software deployment*technologies. -Expert in *Operating System installations* and should have exceptional *trouble-shooting *experiences. -Must have experience in *MS* *SCCM and VM Ware Administration* and not just has worked on these products on a sandbox. -Senior experience in *Windows 2000/2003 Administration* and *HP/Compaq Proliant servers* (e.g. Proliant DL320-DL585). -Must possess technical knowledge in various disciplines to resolve complex infrastructure integration issues and problems. -Software Expertise: Windows 2000, 2003, 2008??? various editions, IIS, Veritas Netback up, HP Insight Mgr., Virtual Servers hosted on VMware ESX, , Patch link, Symantec End Protection (Anti-virus), MS Terminal Server, ODBC, FTP, -TCP/IP, HP RDP, Microsoft WDS/MDT/SCCM, BMC Patrol, BMC Remedy. -Preferred: Citrix Presentation Server, VMWare ESX.
