Front End Developer 11 month contract or contract to hire Ann Arbor, MI *GC or USC Only! No H1B or OPT* Job Responsibilities Bridge the gap between design and implementation Develop new user-facing features Build reusable code and libraries for future use Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Collaborate well with team members, stakeholders, and management Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent education + experience. Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience designing high-functionality easy-to-use compelling web applications. Meaningful front-end development using HTML5, Jquery, Backbone, Angular, CSS3, Sass experience with Ruby on Rails required Fluent with HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS, Jquery Meaningful experience with frameworks such as Backbone and Angular Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and AJAX. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Version control with git/stash or other tools Basic knowledge of image authoring tools (Photoshop, Illustrator), to be able to crop, resize, or perform other small adjustments to images.
