*Position: Project Manager * *Location: SFO, CA* *Duration: 12 Months* *Summary:* · The primary mission of the Genentech Research & Early Development (gRED) organization is to discover and rigorously assess promising molecule candidates for viable therapeutic benefits. The gRED DevSci (Development Sciences) division’s core mission is to translate scientific hypotheses into therapeutic possibilities by enabling the discovery and development of safe and effective therapeutics at optimal doses in relevant populations. · As the gRED IT Project Manager, your primary responsibilities include the planning, execution and monitoring of IT Operational activities to ensure that DevSci applications are running in a healthy and stable state. Additional responsibilities include the planning, execution and monitoring the DevSci Operational portfolio, which is comprised of 20+ various Operational activities, such as Infrastructure upgrades, OS compatibility testing, support of enterprise IT initiatives and other DevSci M&E activities. · You are required to lead cross-functional IT teams in delivery of project goals while managing project scope, time and costs. With a strong focus on partnership, the IT Project Manager is expected to align directly with Business Operations for effective collaboration and cultivation of trust and dependability. You are a great team player who works well with other IT professionals towards the common vision of delivering on solutions to enable the company in providing novel therapeutics to our patients. *Responsibilities:* · Scope Management – Understanding scope/objectives of the initiatives in collaboration with the responsible Solution Owner and applicable Project Manager. · Initiative Objective Delivery - Delivering the objectives of various initiatives on time, on approved budget, within quality limits, and with the expected outcomes. · Tracking and Reporting - Monitoring the completion of applicable deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones. Providing accurate, timely and fit for purpose status reports to various key stakeholders. · Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency (RAID) Management - Actively managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) in collaboration with various stakeholders; and proposing appropriate mitigation actions. Identifying, actively managing and integrating with any dependent projects or activities. · Team Collaboration & Leadership - Organizing and overseeing the applicable involvement of IT resources (both FTE and non-FTEs) and effectively communicates to stakeholders in verbal and written form. Ability to represent both gRED and IT to interfacing departments and affiliates. · Compliance – Directly accountable for ensuring compliance with initiative management, portfolio management and computer system validation (CSV) policies, guidelines, process tools and reporting standards of the portfolio. These norms will include all system qualification/validation state documentation, resource forecasting/tracking, and financial forecasting/tracking. · Creates and/or assists with required project documentation practices such as user requirements, functional specifications and testing plans · Directs developers and SQA resources in the creation and testing of applications to support business requirements · Manage project statements of work (SOW), change requests, requests for proposal and other procurement activities in conjunction with IT planning teams as required · Manages project financial budgets, scheduling, planning and contractor resource assignment and track vendor and consultant performance including billing against budget and contract *Qualifications: * · 4+ years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes · Strong track record of planning, tracking and lead team to delivery project/initiative on time and within budget · Proven ability to obtain results in a matrix environment · Well-versed in vendor management and can look for new opportunities to optimize vendor relationships · Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels within IT and Business teams · Exceptional listening, problem solving, influencing, and facilitation skills · Proven leadership abilities and mature organizational skills · Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk · Hands-on experience in tracking and managing financial aspect of a large and diverse portfolio, including periodic spend forecasting, accrual and tracking expense/invoices, etc. · Education: Relevant Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, Life Sciences, Business; or equivalent experience · Validation experience in GxP (GCP/GLP) environments *Preferred qualifications:* · Previous experience working in research, pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences and/or drug development · Genentech/Roche PMM methodology and/or PMI Certification *Thanks & Regards* *Ajeet Dwivedi* (IT Recruiter) *Phone: 609-853-0818 X 2174* Fax: 609 799 5746 Email: [email protected] Gtalk: ajeetitrecruiter https://in.linkedin.com/in/ajeet-dwivedi-14b7056b www.nityo.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
