*Role - Embedded Software Engineer* *Location - Sunnyvale, CA* *Duration – Long Term Contract* Must have solid Android/Linux skills. *(Essential Duties and Responsibilities)* -Conceptualize, prototype and support the software development of embedded Telematics solutions including advanced engineering development of software modules targeting next generation telematics platforms. - Develop application software to fully exercise and benchmark automotive grade SoC, Optimize software based on micro architecture. Provide analysis on performance. - Develop perform benchmarks adhering to POSIX standards - work on Graphic engine and develop application using native development Kit in android - Work on C# to develop tools for image processing - Kernel level debugging and analysis of the kernel stack between different operating systems - Use Valgrind and other tools to analyze memory leaks *(Behavioral skills, Mathematical skills, Physical demands, Language skills, Other skills)* - Excellent working experience with C, C++ - Working experience on Linux and Android operating systems -Strong understanding of operating systems and computer architecture fundamentals - working experience in hypervisor and containers - Experience in android and Linux software stack, strongly preferred. - Experience working with embedded evaluation boards with Linux based board support packages. Experience developing software in Linux for resource constrained embedded systems. - Experience with NDKs and QT,QML will be a plus. - Good understanding on Wayland and Android graphic engines - Ability to manage competing project priorities and constraints.
