They will work with other team members (who are based in Portland, Oregon with our newly acquired Evanta team). Please feel free to call me this afternoon to discuss if you have questions. The successful candidate will join a high performing agile development team focused on developing, enhancing, and supporting complex applications with HTML5/Backbone JS/JavaScript/jQuery on the front-end and Rails 4 and PHP5/Zend Framework on the back-end. Candidate should have strong knowledge of Rails 4 and PHP5 with experience in large frameworks. Understanding of and creating and using a RESTful API and knowledge of security best practices is a plus. Experience performance-tuning existing code to increase performance and decrease resource utilization is a plus. Candidate will participate in development meetings with other team members, develop and deliver plans and associated estimates for software solutions and track and provide feedback for your work. You will be working in an environment where high performance, high quality and attention to detail are expected.
