Position : Salesforce Developer Location : Rockville, MD Duration : 6 months CTH *!! NEED GC OR USC ONLY !!* *!! NEED LOCAL TO MD, VA OR DC ONLY !!* Job Description: Core Competencies: As a key member of the Quality & Performance team the Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist is responsible for the design, development, implementation, management and support of new business intelligence solutions. They provide quality assurance of reports generated for internal and external distribution and validate compliance with all corporate and regulatory guidelines. They use analytical skills to plan and report on key performance/risk indicators, provide actionable business data, and assist in ad-hoc reporting. Creates a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, mentoring and cooperation. Follows-up to ensure satisfaction in the delivery of service excellence. Gather required BI system requirements. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive data store design and configuration. Use or build necessary Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools to load data store. Transition developed BI systems to the Operations teams. Perform quality assurance functions as they relate to reporting and data validation. Monitor key performance & risk indicators. Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for both external and internal users. Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence. Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members. Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes. Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision. Must be able to successfully interface across separate departments and practices. Must be able to translate technology and BI concepts for senior and executive leadership.
