So if you have any good consultant then please share it on [email protected] Sr. Microsoft SSRS Report Developer Location: Chicago Downtown Duration: 6 Months (possible extension) 8 - 10 years’ experience needed No OPT's please Interview 100% guarantee for the genuine candidate -Knowledge of how to connect, analyze and define logical datasets out of existing SQL stores -Involved in creating database objects like tables, views, procedures, triggers, and functions using SQL and provide definition, structure to access and maintain data efficiently. -Building, testing and publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling using SQL server and SSRS -Create action filters, report parameters and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets. -Ability to analyze business processes and existing reports and replace them with more efficient operational reports and dashboards -Capability to reverse engineer SQL and Procedures Logic and rewrite SQL queries to extract data from live reporting tables; improve on legacy reports and sql statements -Work directly in the Business Unit to define requirements and prototype reports for maximum usability -Schedule meetings with Business and Key IT Developers and walk through solutions and finished code -Unit test code and perform other integrity checks on the data before having business users review -Document each report both in the code as well as in hand off document so each report has a specification on its design and build (ie sources and logic used) -Assist business in testing strategy and planning, offer ideas and different approaches -Help evolve ideas on business dashboards and help design, build and implement. -Design delivery schedules of reports to key areas of the company -Use version control software, test, build deploy automation -Knowledge of Banking, Credit Processes and Collateral is a plus **Ideal Candidate would also have experience with Misys Summit Trading System.
