*Position: Operations QA Analyst* *Location: San Rafael, CADuration: 12 months*
*Responsibilities * Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables Work with Engineering teams to gather regression requirements and come with reliable automation scripts Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs, jobs and triggers. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan. Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results. Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. Work with other technical teams to resolve infrastructure related problems (i.e. Operating system, Network, Database) where appropriate Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on reporting applications to business units and users. Prevent, review and remediate security vulnerabilities *Requirements * BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience 3-5 years relevant work experience Programming skills in *Core Java for Selenium, Web Driver scripting* Experience in test framework like *Junit and TestNG * Firm understanding of *HTML, HTTP, XML, XPATH and JSON.* Experience in testing back end Web Services (*REST, SOAP)* Working knowledge of Jenkins CI environment SQL/database knowledge Passion for quality assurance and test automation Writing concise and clear technical documents Strong communication skills.
