The Programmer Analyst is part of a team working with the Human Resources users supporting and enhancing the PeopleSoft application which includes the following modules: Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Position Management, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Employee Self Service. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills and be able to work both independently and in a team environment, providing expert client management skills. Key job responsibilities include: * Conducting and leading meetings with clients; * Analyzing business requirements; * Leveraging functionality provided by PeopleSoft where appropriate; * Designing technical specifications for customized code; * Providing written documentation on designs and process flows; * Developing and unit testing application; * Providing written end-user documentation for clients and writing code using one or more of the following: PeopleTools (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode), SQR, XML; * Basic Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of five plus (5+) years of related experience are required. The selected candidate must have experience with implementing and supporting the PeopleSoft Human Resources systems (Note: PeopleSoft version 9.0 experience is strongly preferred.), particularly HR, Payroll and Benefits Administration modules.
