The Technical Project Manager will report directly to the Senior Program
Manager up through the Director of the Program Office and will have a
dotted line or matrix reporting line into our Infrastructure Services
Operations Manager and Data Center Consolidation Principle Architect
leading this large-scale data center consolidation project.

The key objective of this role is to provide program and project management
for a large scale Data Center Consolidation and Migration project,
including computes, network storage, transitioning and transformation
activities, and ensuring world class delivery by following industry best
practices and PMO standards.



This candidate should have experience in the following areas:

•             Risk Management, specific to data center moves (and for other
IT projects)

•             Consolidation  & Relocating systems with stringent security,
and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. SSAE, ISO27001, HIPPA, EUMC,
PCI)

The Technical Project Manager will also be responsible for:

•             Project Planning, producing and aggregating all necessary
software artifacts to support program planning, tracking and decision making

•             Project Leadership, managing and reporting on milestones,
issues, actions, risks and budget.

•             Resource Management, including the ability to manage
allocations for vendor, 3rd party suppliers, and internal resources while
aligning stakeholders’ expectations, and timelines

•             Successful project execution and delivery of functionality

•             Ensuring that all program/project artifacts are reviewed and
are according to standards and guidelines

•             Tiered level communications

•             Project scope prioritization

•             Managing production deployment and maintenance phases of
projects

•             Initiating process improvement activities including process
generation, process monitoring/auditing, and metrics collection and
reporting.

•             Achieving successful results while meeting or reducing all
budgetary and program costs.

Additional responsibilities include:

•             Project management over assigned IT projects and developing
pragmatic project delivery and implementation plans with Project teams

•             Adherence to PMO best practices, standards and framework for
the enterprise IT Project Delivery

•             Creating and delivering Executive level presentations and
status reports

•             Providing oversight management to 3rd party Project Managers
ensuring established PMO processes, industry standards and frameworks are
followed

•             Driving collaboration and accountability with various project
workstream Leads, project team members and Suppliers to develop and
implement infrastructure projects in a complete and timely manner
consistent with business needs

•             Managing relationships between project team members
(Suppliers & business units)

•             Partnering with IT peers, internal Client Executives and
business unit sponsors to successfully execute program, drive user adoption
and achieve associated financial targets

•             Facilitating communications with suppliers and internal
organizations on behalf of the Global Business Services and Business Unit
organizations

•             Ensuring Projects adhere to Global Business Services and
Supplier Change and Release Management processes

The Technical Project Manager will communicate with all program
stakeholders and influence direction of all program participants to meet
the overall program goals and objectives.



Education:

•             4-year degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Preference given to candidates with degrees in Business, Technology or
related field.

Experience:

•             Minimum of 5+ years in the technology field supporting
initiatives as an Infrastructure Technical Project Manager

•             Experience managing Data Center Relocations and large scale,
complex server relocations and/or migrations (more than 200 servers and
over 5 applications) in including consolidation or relocating systems with
stringent security, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. SSAE,
ISO27001, HIPPA, EUMC, PCI)

•             Strong relationship management skills to work at all levels
of an organization, ability to influence Senior Level Leadership, Client
Executives, Project Teams, customers (internal and external) and Supplier
Personnel and promote successful project activity

•             Experience managing projects in matrix organization with
diverse team members including internal and external personnel,
consultants, and offshore resources

•             Ability to collaborate with Suppliers to drive program
success, manage project issues, risks and develop mitigation plans

•             Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

•             Adept at anticipating and meeting the expectations associated
with managing multiple priorities, expectations, programs, relationships

•             Self-starter with results oriented, proactive management
approach that focuses on getting the job done

•             Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

•             Experience in initiating project reviews, aggregating and
coordinating project reporting information into a program level
communication/ report suitable for the Director of the Program Office and
other Senior Executive consumption and decision making purposes is required

•             Demonstrable experience managing projects throughout a full
lifecycle (from Inception Deployment and Maintenance)

•             Strong organizational skills, ability to learn on the job,
and possess a strong sense of responsibility and ownership

•             PMP/PMI Certification preferred

•             Expertise in project management disciplines, methodologies
and industry best practices required, using one or all of the following:
Agile, Scrum, Iterative, and/or CMMI, et al.

•             Experience in negotiating project scope, further
demonstrating success executing formal estimation techniques and/or metrics
collection for reporting

•             Tools Experience:

o             Project monitoring

o             Requirements management

o             Issue tracking

o             Online collaboration tools

o             Change Management

o             Microsoft Project (MPP)

o             Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel and Power Point
